Corporate Events in Summertime decline...

So the decline of shows is sad. I work as a mentalist and magician at various corporate events through out the year. The problem is that 80% of my work comes in december and january when corporate events are at their highest.

Being summertime, no corporations have parties or even sales seminars because VP Joey and Treasurist Barry are taking their kids to Disney World for a fun vacation. This month I have decided to hit the road. I have 4 events the next 2 weeks and then I will be ready for some fun summertime events. Im thinking of trying my hand at street performing in Key West and then bouncing to New Orleans. It should be easy to get seen and make some pocket cash.

As many of you know I have been reading minds in bars for decades. So I am use to being on the road… If you are looking for some entertainment for your bar or corporate event call me. Prices drop in summer time.

Unethical Magic Practices... Steve Pellegrinos Open Billet Box

Today I was on my online publishers website and found that they are selling a penny bend similar to my own. In fact it uses the EXACT same method as mine. I will let you in on a little secret to make a penny bendable all you need to do is submerge it into a hot flame until it gets white hot and allow it to cool. If you use vermiculite to cool it slower, it becomes easier to bend. The process is called annealing.

My dear friend James Chenug taught me this method back in 2002 when we were working with David Blaine in Manhattan. James learned UK pennies can be annealed because of their high copper content. I found that pre 1982 pennies can be annealed because they are still copper. James and I were working on a huge publicity stunt where we could swap in annealed penny for change and cause a mass penny bending in the audience. It fell through due to logistics.

I decided to publish the method. It did quite well amongst magicians. Then an unethical bastard named Steve Pellegrino decided he would release the same method. He claimed to have different handling for the bend. Thats great Steve but revealing someones published method is unethical in magic communities. True annealing is an open method, however so is spoon bending using your hands. If I were to give away banacheks, chad sanborn, or Morgan Strebblers I would be as big of a thief as he is. Even if the handling was slightly different.

When ever possible I get credit for any moves I use. I used a version of acidus novus that Jay Marshall had taught me before he died. He said he learned it from the originator. As such when ever I reference that move I credit Jay for the knowledge.

If magic methods are freely given away, then I shall do the same.... You do not become rich off of magic secrets, so I will charge nothing for my Xaviers Box which uses a similar method as Steve Pellegrinos Open Billet Box. This Xavier Open Billet Box will be the first of every book that I rewrite of Steves until he pulls his penny bend from the market. This took me an hour to write and I included AMAZING routines and I even added a feature which makes it unique and my own production. So even though steve pellegrino is a scum bag, I will continue to change steves ideas 20% and add new routines to them for free to you my magician fans.

As many of you know I collect all manner of oddities. I have an original casting of a Bigfoot print from a 1964 sighting all the way to a Fiji mermaid. Now I add this little charmer to my collection.

This is an alien fetus that has toured across America in a sideshow. The original owner claimed that he had a military contract to provide laboratory film to Wright Patterson air force Base. While there a lieutenant begged for his help and gave a duffle bag to the base film vendor to hold onto. He said it’s nothing crazy just something for my wife. The film vendor was asked to meet the air force lieutenant at a local diner off base at eight pm and bring the bag with. The vendor didn’t think anything of it and left the bag in the truck as he made his rounds. Eight came quickly and the vendor headed to the diner.

I waited there over three hours and he never met me. I figured he got busy at work and must have been called upon to work on something air forcy and top secret. I knew he had high clearance and worked on air planes that flew by themselves. So I headed home

Upon heading home the vendor realized there were armed guards at his house and though it was some distance away, he observed his girl friend being hauled away by gun point. That’s when he passed the house and took a side road quickly making sure he wasn’t being followed.

He knew it had to do with the duffle bag. He pried it open to see what was inside…..

It looks like a 10 inch long creature in a jar of solution. It had to be an alien fetus. It seemed to be wiggling so I thought it had to be alive… I knew I was sitting on the worlds biggest secret and it frightened me. So I drove to a motel.

The man never returned home. Instead he was on the run. He has tried to have it analyzed several times but suspicious things keep happening. One lab in southern California caught fire nearly destroying the alien creature.

The former base vendor was accused of being a sexual predator in the media. They had to have doctored up these charges. He needed money so he sold the now dead creature to an old Christian preacher who took it on the road. He called it the Nephalem the child of angels and men. The scourge that had to be erased from the earth by Noah’s great flood…

I now possess it and I present to you… A modern marvel of science and history! It excites and sort of scares me to be honest.

Ghost in Stadium Porto is Just a Guy Running

Not everything is as it seems….   News casters ate too blame of the recent soccer foot ball ghost scare. You see a Spanish news agency picked up an article about a ghost in the news clip above. Unfortunately what they didn’t tell you is outs security footage of a man running through the arena which is why security is following the man. The blur is standard motion blur of a fast moving object out off focus. Hint number one is that the ledge the man is running on is obviously an out of place larger platform, which a man would run on not the standard seating were familiar with…   Anyways case closed…
